We have identified three primary factors that may have a disproportionate impact on our chances of success: (1) gaining enthusiastic support from program participants and the general public, (2) quickly assembling a qualified team, and (3) maintaining alignment with the Barbados Government as we launch.

(1) gaining enthusiastic support from program participants and the general public: Our local advisors in Barbados have reinforced the idea that having early success stories could make a significant difference in the eagerness of Bajans to participate in the program and the willingness of the public to support the program. To address this issue, we are pairing full time Content Producers on our team with consultants who specialize in creative production and distribution, story telling, marketing, and content partnerships around the island so that we tell stories that are "by Bajans for Bajans", and this content is distributed quickly and effectively on the appropriate channels.

(2) quickly assembling a qualified team: while we already have strong candidates identified for all four roles we are hiring for, our ability to act quickly to hire and support these teams will depend on our ability to get the legal and human resources foundations in place in time for us to achieve our hiring milestones. We already have HR and legal consultants who have offered early advising and submitted proposals for activating their support so that we can get these elements in place in time to hire and activate the full team needed to meet our timelines for the initial launch cohort and beyond.

(3) maintaining alignment with the Barbados Government as we launch: we have made big strides with the government and have been building good will, trust, and a precedent of collaboration and progress with our partners in government. We need to continue to maintain these good relationships and enhance our ability to get our government partners the information, updates, and requests they need, as well as hold them accountable to progress in thoughtful and effective ways when need be, and to do so we have received proposals with consultants focused on measurement and evaluation as well as government/stakeholder relations.
